About the Creator

Qwavy is a 3D-printed slide, conceived and modeled in virtual reality using Gravity Sketch on the Meta Quest 3 headset. The immersive environment enabled an intuitive, spatial approach to design, allowing for freeform modeling without the constraints of traditional tools. Once the form was defined, it was further optimized for 3D printing in Blender, refining geometry and scale to meet fabrication requirements. The surface texture was developed procedurally using Geometry Nodes, generating a pattern that reinforces the ripple-inspired aesthetic and integrates seamlessly with the overall flow of the design.
