About SYREX
Born as an evolution of Spore’s reptilian inspired category, SYREX is a maximalist expansion on a fascination with biology, science fiction, and design. Inspired by longirostrine piscivory predators - alligators, snakes, and the Spinosaurus - its design lines draw from jaw adaptations engineered to capture prey, translating into dynamic, complementary form. A spiked scale textured upper ornaments a performance mule silhouette, echoing the dragon like form of the spiny bush viper. Blending lethal aggression with fluid elegance, SYREX further defines and pushes the reptile category forward. It is an evolution where bio-aesthetics converge with speed, instinct, and imagination.

About the Creator
I consider the ideal and greatest instrument for design to be biology. Our collective sense of aesthetic appeal is rooted in our biological makeup, shaped by the evolutionary motivation for survival. My aim is to craft narratives, ecosystems, and languages, not just products. I envision complex systems because I believe that both the product and its presentation hold equal significance. As a young designer my mission is to reimagine our environment, collaboratively constructing a better future for all. That's why I strive to evoke a 'Nostalgia for the Future' in my work, drawing from the past to create a relatable vision. My creative process is an amalgamation of concepts where I collage images and ideas, hybridizing categories to create compelling new silhouettes. I draw inspiration from diverse industries - including the physical craft of action figure manufacturing, the imaginative anatomy of video game creature design, and the world-building of sci-fi cinema - to enrich and expand my design palette. I rigorously iterate across various mediums and platforms, exploring every angle of design opportunity. Leveraging emerging technologies and workflows, I aim to introduce fresh perspectives to the design process.
